We are seeking nominations for the following positions on the National Executive Committee (NEC):

The NEC is responsible for the overall administration and implementation of Union policy as directed by National Conference. The Regional Officer will represent the views of their Regional Council at the NEC and at local Employee Involvement Committees. Under the terms of the Recognition Agreement NEC members are entitled to take up to 11 days paid days off to fulfil their Union duties.

The Regional Officer must work in their Region and have completed three continuous years membership in the Union. Full details of the election procedure, and functions of the NEC are available in the Union Rule Book.

Nomination forms must be received at the Union's Office in Middleton Cheney by 5pm on 5th September 2008.
